Okay—seriously. How is the year already coming to a close? Before we shut our laptops for the holidays, we wanted to pause and reflect on a year that was anything but ordinary. 2025 was our boldest year yet, and that’s because of you. Your trust gives us the freedom to experiment, pivot, and do the creative work we truly love. We’re endlessly grateful for every moment of collaboration.
If we had to sum up 2025 in one word, it would be intentionality. This wasn’t about doing more; it was about doing the right work. We aligned more closely than ever with clients who share our values, and the result was stronger partnerships, better processes, and work we’re genuinely proud of.
2025 Reflections
This year, we partnered with incredible local and regional businesses to launch new brands, refresh longtime favorites, and create digital experiences that connect both emotionally and strategically. We proved—again—that safe doesn’t always sell. The real magic happens when you stop trying to fit in and start leaning into what makes you you.
Even better? The collaboration. Every strategy session, honest conversation, and shared win reminded us that community is everything. Showing up for you and for each other made even the busiest days worthwhile.
We welcomed 12 new clients and took on some of our most meaningful projects yet, from rebranding Harbor Humane to partnering with Michigan State Senate candidate Chris Kleinjans. At the same time, we continued growing alongside longtime partners like Beechwood Grill (14 years and counting!) and true. Women’s Health, a cornerstone client we’ve been building alongside since 2020. That level of trust fuels our best work, and we never take it for granted.
Behind the scenes, we refined our operations, strengthened collaboration, and thoughtfully explored AI with an eye toward ethical, long-term use.
Life at Leverage
Our team grew in big ways this year, personally and professionally. Our Marketing Operations Director, Sam, welcomed a beautiful baby boy in November, and our hearts couldn’t be fuller.
We also welcomed a new team member, our Executive Assistant, Abbey Stroop. Abbey’s steady presence, thoughtfulness, and ability to bring clarity to fast-moving days have made an immediate impact across the agency. Her behind-the-scenes support has helped us operate more intentionally, and we’re so grateful she’s part of the Leverage family.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we look forward, we’re excited to keep blending smart, data-backed strategy with fresh, engaging creative. Our focus remains the same: helping you cut through the noise with clarity, confidence, and impact. We’re also doubling down on community involvement, supporting local nonprofits, amplifying underrepresented voices, and using our skills for good.
This year, we also mapped out a clear 5-year vision with Kristen Kosidowski of The Mindset Engineer. In 2026, you’ll see us moving forward with purpose, guided by the values and strategies that have driven success for our clients and our team.
A Toast to You
Here’s to another year of creativity, connection, and just the right amount of chaos. Your partnership is why we get to do work that matters, and we’re so thankful for everything we’ve built together.
Now go rest, recharge, and eat something delicious. We can’t wait to dream big with you in 2026. Cheers to what’s next.
With love & gratitude,
The Leverage Marketing Team 💛
A Note from Our CEO
As I look back on 2025, I’m struck by how much of our best work happens beyond what anyone sees on the surface. This year reinforced my belief that meaningful marketing is built on clarity, trust, and strong operations working quietly behind the scenes. Watching our team grow, deepen partnerships, and support one another through a year full of momentum and change has been incredibly rewarding. I’m deeply grateful to our clients for their trust, to our team for their care and commitment, and to our community for allowing us to do work that feels purposeful and human. Thank you and Happy Holidays!
Kindly,
Missy Richeal | Founder & CEO, Leverage Marketing
