Leverage Marketing Expands, Acquires Lakeshore Firm FineLine Creative

(Grand Haven, Michigan – August 26, 2022) – Leverage Marketing, based in Grand Haven, is expanding and has acquired lakeshore marketing agency FineLine Creative of Spring Lake, Michigan. The two teams officially began to integrate on August 1st. Missy Richeal, Leverage’s founder and CEO, opened her doors in 2010 and has significantly expanded in size and services in the last five years. FineLine’s owner, Laura Holmes, will join the Leverage team as a strategist and business development director. In addition, Project Manager Shelli Bell will join the Leverage team as Senior Account Manager.

About the Leverage Team

Leverage is woman-owned and led with Missy Richeal continuing as CEO, Laura Holmes in strategy and business development, and Denise Kurdziel managing finance and operations. Denise brings over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and supply chain sectors. Laura co-founded FineLine Creative in 2003 and currently serves as the marketing director for the Michigan Irish Music Festival. She is also a published author and maintains a travel blog. Missy began her agency career in South Carolina as a Client Services Director and, on her return to Michigan, used her creative and client-side experience to form Leverage in 2010.

Joe Preston brings over 15 years of experience, and as Leverage’s Interactive Director, he manages and oversees all of Leverage’s hosting, website, and mobile app projects. The Leverage design team is led by Miranda Keyser and Steffany DeVoursney. The client services team includes Sam Rutherford in marketing operations and two senior account managers, Colleen Zahrt and Shelli Bell. Chase Loreto rounds out the creative team with his photography talent.

Leverage is Moving

After two years in their current location at 631 Franklin Ave., in Grand Haven, Leverage will move just a few blocks away to a bigger space on September 1st. The new physical address will be 422 Fulton Street, inside the Grand Haven Community Center. A company open house will be held later this fall, with details and a date to be announced.
