Overview

Central Park Place has been a staple in the Grand Haven community for over 50 years! As a central hub for visitors, families, and organizations, Central Park Place is a shared space for creativity, curiosity, and connection with a rich local history

Fully rebranding the Grand Haven Community Center to Central Park Place was a special project for our team – our offices are in the same building! We developed a naming and branding strategy, a logo concept, and a new website. We also currently assist with professional photography, a monthly eNewsletter and blog, and special event planning. The opportunity to foster creativity and inclusion in our Grand Haven community is so important to our team!

IT'S ALL IN THE NAME

When the City of Grand Haven looked to rebrand the community center, its goal was to develop a brand that focused on intentionally engaging within the arts community along the Lakeshore. After previous branding efforts had gone differently than planned, Central Park Place hired Leverage Marketing to help get rebranding efforts off the ground in time for their first annual Encounter the Arts event. Working closely with Community Affairs Manager Char and Ashley Latsch, Grand Haven’s City Manager, we developed a new concept that was welcoming and modern to pivot the community center into a space that fosters creativity, inclusion, and connection.

BLOGGING AND eNews

Beyond monthly website maintenance and support, our team works to build SEO by creating content for Central Park Place’s blog! Blogging helps increase website traffic, generate leads, and strengthen brands by demonstrating thought leadership in your brand’s expertise. To kick off Central Park Place’s blogging series, we took a deep dive into Kogan Con, a yearly event that celebrates Anime, Manga, and all Fandom media, as well as the history of Central Park Place

We also create and manage Central Park Place’s monthly eNewsletter. We feature the latest blog and help promote local and upcoming events. We love supporting our Lakeshore communities!

SPECIAL EVENTS

Encounter the Arts, hosted by Central Park Place, is a free annual event that began in 2022! The Leverage team developed the event’s logo and entire branding strategy. We also help plan all marketing initiatives to promote the event each year. For 2023, we have created posters, rack cards, eNews features, a blog, and sponsorship packets and are managing press releases. Learn more about the event and how to get involved.
